Using TapCal
The everyday actions
Create an item, edit it from the selected day, or find an event without leaving the main calendar.
Edit
- 1Select the day in the month view.
- 2Tap an event or reminder in the timeline below it.
Search
- 1Open Search from the main toolbar.
- 2Search covers events in visible calendars, not reminders.
What reminders support
Priority, recurrence, notes, and optional arrival or departure alerts. Location alerts require Always location access and TapCal Pro.

Set the default destination for new items, control visibility, and connect calendars already available on your device.

Subscription calendar

Subscription calendars are read-only feeds.
Calendar accounts
TapCal reads iCloud, Google, Outlook/Exchange, Yahoo, and CalDAV calendars through iOS.

Shared calendars
A shared calendar can appear in TapCal if it already appears in Apple Calendar. TapCal cannot create sharing or send invitations.
Calendar sets
Save up to 5 combinations of visible calendars and reminder lists. Open them from the main toolbar or Calendars & Lists.
Notifications
Set alerts where they belong
TapCal schedules its own notifications. Event alerts belong to calendars; reminder alerts belong to reminder lists.

- Check app access in Settings > Check Permissions.
