This Privacy Policy describes how TapCal ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit or use https://www.tapcal.app (the "Site") and when you use the TapCal mobile application (the "App"), or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services"). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services.

Information We Collect

We design TapCal and its website to collect as little information as reasonably possible. We do not create user accounts and we do not use the Site or the App to build marketing or tracking profiles.

Information Collected via the Site

If you contact us directly (for example, by email), we may receive information such as your name, email address, and the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you choose to provide.

We do not offer account registration on the Site and we do not ask you to submit personal information in order to browse the Site.

Information Collected via the App

The App is a calendar application that integrates with Apple's EventKit, WeatherKit, notification system, and certain third-party services (such as advertising SDKs) to provide its functionality. The categories of information used by the App are:

TapCal and our hosting providers may follow a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. These are not linked to information that is directly personally identifiable. The purpose of this information is to administer the Site, maintain security, and understand aggregate usage trends.

The Site may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for it to function (for example, to keep basic technical preferences or to protect against misuse). We do not use cookies on the Site for advertising or behavioural tracking.

The App offers subscriptions that are handled exclusively through Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not process payments directly and we do not have access to your full payment details. All billing, renewal, and cancellation for subscriptions are managed by Apple via your Apple ID account.
