TapCal v1.5


v1.5 focuses on improving how events behave, how widgets can be customised, and fixing of bugs!
There are a few new features here, but most of the value comes from making things feel more reliable and easier to use day to day.
You can now view attendees directly in the Edit Event screen.
There’s a dedicated view showing attendance details, so you can quickly see who’s going, declined, or hasn’t responded.
This is read-only (due to Apple API limitations), but it makes shared events much clearer.
Notes now detect URLs across:
Links are now tappable, and longer notes include Show More / Show Less controls so they don’t take over the screen.
Small change, but it makes notes much more usable.
The list widget now has proper customisation options inside Widget Settings.
You can now control:
This gives you more control over how much information you want to see at a glance.
Birthday and contact-based events can now open the linked contact card directly from event details.
Tap the event, and you can jump straight into the contact.
You can now allow Contacts access to enhance event details.

It’s completely optional and only used to improve how events are displayed.
This update includes a number of fixes, especially around subscriptions and natural language parsing.
A number of edge cases have been fixed so event creation behaves more predictably:
