Tapcal v1.3 – Themes, Settings Cleanup, and Fixes That Matter

v1.3 tightens up areas you use every day: themes, settings, and stability. A few long-standing annoyances are gone, and some parts of the app should now feel smoother.

✨ What’s New

⚙️ Settings Cleanup

The settings layout has been cleaned up and reorganised.

Appearance now contains everything visual in one place:

• App icon

• Font selection

• App theme

• Widget theme

Updated the UI in a few other areas too

🫟 Theme Overhaul with Accent Colours

Themes have had a proper overhaul.

You can now:

• Choose from preset accent colours

• Or pick a custom accent colour with a new custom picker

The accent colour applies across the app and helps personalise Tapcal without overcomplicating things.

🎨 New Themes Added

A few new themes have been added to give more variety out of the box, especially if you like subtle changes rather than full visual shifts.

More control, without visual noise.

🗣️ Better Feedback Page

The feedback page now explains how replies work and makes it clearer that I can respond.

There’s also a direct email link you can tap, so sending feedback is easier if you like that.

Small change, but it should make communication smoother.

🐞 Bug Fixes

This update also fixes a few issues that were easy to miss but annoying if you hit them.

• List widget now orders events correctly

  Events are no longer ordered by event length and are now sorted properly by start time.

• Full month widget display fixes

  A few layout and rendering issues have been corrected to make the month widget more consistent.

• Other small fixes

  Minor bugs and edge cases cleaned up across the app.

A Small Update, but a Solid One

As always, a lot of this came directly from feedback, so keep it coming. Every update helps shape where Tapcal goes next.
